Based on the internationally acclaimed novel of the same name, THE GIRL IN THE FOG follows the sudden disappearance of Anna Lou, a 16-year-old girl from a small mountain village in the Italian Alps. Called to investigate the mystery is the enigmatic Detective Vogel (Toni Servillo), who soon realizes that this case is far from simple. Working against the clock and amidst an unprecedented and growing media frenzy, Vogel must make use of his unconventional methods to uncover the truth, in a town where motives are obscure, facts are distorted – and everyone could be a suspect.

Written and directed by Donato Carrisi, who adapted the script from his own bestselling novel, this tense thriller features an all-star European cast including Jean Reno (Leon, Ronin, The Da Vinci Code) and Galatea Ranzi (The Great Beauty).
