Icarus Films in Metropolis Magazine
Buckminster Fuller, a featured architect in GREAT EXPECTATIONS, is the subject of a current exhibit at the Whitney Museum. "The Fuller Effect" is the cover story of the July/August issue of Metropolis Magazine.
BIRD'S NEST: HERZOG AND DE MEURON IN CHINA, a new release from Icarus Films concerning the National Stadium in Beijing (which is where the Olympics Opening Ceremony will take place this evening), screened recently on Long Island and is continuing to play in theaters across the continent. The Metropolis blog, P/O/V, had a write-up on the film to accompany the Long Island screening.

2 FRIF films receive awards at the 2008 Montreal International Festival of Films on Art

4 FRIF films to be shown at the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture conference
The annual meeting of ASCA will take place in Houston from March 27th to 30th, this year exploring the theme of “Seeking the City: Visionaries on the margins.”
WASTE=FOOD, SHIGERU BAN, THE FUTURE OF MUD and LAGOS/KOOLHAAS will all be presented during the conference.
