Thomas B., a hardcore smoker, is determined to give the habit up. But will he be able to meet his goals and be happy with his new life? Through Thomas's personal diary, viewers witness his changing moods and challenges. This lively documentary follows him from doctor's visits, where he seeks practical advice, to a scientific laboratory where rats are used to help understand nicotine dependency. Thomas faces each day's new obstacles with wry humour, even paying homage to once-fellow travelers who are still hooked on smoking. A must-see for viewers who are considering stopping smoking or who have already given it up, SMOKING KILLS is engaging, funny and instructive.
